Key Points For Selecting Equipment For Nylon Modified Particle Vibrating Screen

Material Configuration

Contact Materials: 304 Stainless Steel; PP plastic screen frame is not recommended for glass fiber reinforced nylon, as it is easily contaminated by glass fiber abrasion and debris.

Screen Selection:

  • Stainless Steel Perforated Plate: Preferred! No weaving intersections, does not trap nylon particles, resistant to glass fiber abrasion, aperture size 1.2-1.5 times the particle size;
  • Stainless Steel Woven Mesh: Low cost, but glass fiber wears quickly, long particles easily get stuck in the mesh, suitable for ordinary nylon without glass fiber.

Screen Frame: Mother-daughter screen frame, convenient for color changes and quick machine cleaning, avoiding material residue and color mixing.

 

Anti-clogging Screen Cleaning Configuration (Required):
Silicone Bouncing Ball Screen Cleaning (Standard): Silicone bouncing balls are placed at the bottom of the screen, vibrating and impacting the screen to shake off stuck particles, suitable for plastic particle processing, highest cost-effectiveness.

Static Static Suppression Solution (Key to Nylon Modification): Reliable grounding of the entire machine, metal conduction of the screen frame and mesh frame, grounding resistance ≤100Ω, releasing static electricity from friction. Maintain workshop humidity between 45-60% as much as possible; static electricity will be significantly aggravated in dry winter conditions.

For severe static electricity situations: add an ionization air device; ultrasonic waves are generally unnecessary, as their benefits are very low in particle processing.

Sieving nylon particles using nylon screens is not recommended, as it will exacerbate frictional static electricity.

 

Vibration Parameter Adjustment:
Vibration motor: 1440 r/min; Amplitude: 2-3 mm; Phase angle of upper and lower counterweights: 30-40°. The material should be rapidly spiraled outwards; avoid large angles, otherwise the material will accumulate in the center, increasing static clumping.

Feeding must be uniform; avoid forceful feeding, as localized material accumulation will exacerbate static adsorption.
