Balanced Flame Resistance, Rigidity and Dimensional Stability
For electrical components that require a clear flame-retardant rating together with high rigidity, Brominated Flame Retardant Nylon Compound provides a practical material option. The typical grade is PA 119AG6 FR.
The material reaches UL-94 V-0 and has a CTI range of 200–400V. Its performance is designed around flame resistance, mechanical stiffness, and controlled molding dimensions rather than extremely high CTI performance.
It can be used for circuit breakers, residual current protection devices, and related molded electrical parts that require structural support and flame-retardant protection.
Mechanical Properties for Stable Molded Structures
PA 119AG6 FR has a typical density of 1.59 g/cm³. Its molding shrinkage is 0.25%–0.35%, which provides a relatively narrow range for dimensional control during injection molding.
The tensile strength at break is 135 MPa, while the flexural strength is 170 MPa. A flexural modulus of 6900 MPa gives the material good rigidity and resistance to bending deformation. Its notched Izod impact strength is 10 kJ/m².
This combination is suitable for electrical housings, mounting parts, supports, and other structures with relatively stable wall thickness and dimensional requirements. For continuous injection molding, shrinkage and stiffness are important because they can directly affect assembly dimensions and consistency between molded parts.

Choosing the Right Flame-Retardant Nylon
The purchasing value of Brominated Flame Retardant Nylon Compound lies in the balance between V-0 flame resistance, high modulus, and dimensional stability.
Buyers should not select a nylon material based only on one flame-retardant indicator. CTI requirements, part geometry, operating environment, mechanical load, and molding conditions should also be considered.
For applications with higher tracking resistance requirements, the CTI range should be checked carefully against the actual electrical design. For parts where rigidity and dimensional consistency are more important, flexural modulus and molding shrinkage may become key selection factors.
Before volume purchasing, customers can confirm the required CTI, flame-retardant level, part stiffness, mold structure, and injection conditions. Sample trials can also be used to evaluate how the selected material performs in the actual mold.
Manufacturing and Application Support
Diyou New Material operates a production base of approximately 8,500 square meters. Its production processes include raw material handling, twin-screw extrusion modification, injection molding, and performance testing.
The production and quality teams manage raw materials, extrusion conditions, and finished-product inspection through standardized procedures. Technical personnel can provide material selection and processing suggestions according to part dimensions, mold structure, and target mechanical properties.
For batch purchasing projects, support can include sample verification and analysis of later processing problems. This gives customers a clearer way to evaluate both material parameters and actual molding performance before moving into continuous production.
