Reinforced PA6 for Load-Bearing Molded Parts

 

Reinforced Nylon Molding Compound is an enhanced engineering plastic based on PA6. It is designed for parts that need higher mechanical strength, good heat resistance, controlled dimensions, and a good injection-molded appearance.

 

The material can be used in automotive components, power tools, and mechanical parts. Typical applications include components related to plastic fuel tanks, air-conditioning outlets, and other injection-molded products that must withstand assembly loads or long-term mechanical stress.

 

Unlike materials developed mainly for flexibility or impact absorption, reinforced PA6 focuses more strongly on structural support, rigidity, and resistance to deformation.

 

Multiple Performance Ranges for Different Part Designs

 

The typical reinforced grades listed in the product information have a density of 1.35–1.36 g/cm³ and a molding shrinkage range of 0.25%–0.50%.

 

Depending on the selected grade, tensile strength at break ranges from 130 to 190 MPa. Flexural strength ranges from 162 to 220 MPa, while flexural modulus is 6400–8900 MPa.
